Section 36(1) in The Gujarat Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1969
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Chapter, with effect on and from the date on which the Council is constituted under sub-section (5) of Section 3 (hereinafter referred to as "the specified date"), the Bombay Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1953 (Bombay LXVIII of 1953) shall stand repealed.
