Section 20(2) in The Government Of Union Territories Act, 1963
(2)[ The provisions of article 304 shall, with the necessary modifications, apply in relation to any law passed by the Legislative Assembly of [the Union territory] [Inserted by Act 83 of 1971, Section 5 (w.e.f. 16-2-1972)] with respect to any of the matters referred to in that article as they apply in relation to any law passed by the Legislature of a State with respect to those matters.]
