(1)There shall be a Board of Extra-Mural Studies, which shall consist of -(i)the Vice-Chancellor or his nominee, ex officio Chairman;(ii)three members nominated by the Vice-Chancellor of whom at least two shall be residents of rural areas;(iii)one Deputy Director of Education, nominated by the Director of Higher Education;(iv)three members elected by the Senate from amongst its members;(v)one member representing each Faculty; elected by the Academic Council from amongst its members; and(vi)the Director of Extra-Mural Studies, if any.
