Section 2(1)(ii) in The Delhi Vidyut Board Rules, 1997

(ii)"area of supply" means the area in respect of which the Board is responsible for the supply of electricity and shall, for the time being, cover the entire National Capital Territory of Delhi except the areas under the jurisdiction of the New Delhi Municipal Council and the Delhi Cantonment Board;
