Section 2(1)(v) in All India Services (Death-Cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958

(v)Period of joining time which fall within the last [ten months] [Substituted w.e.f. 01.03.1976 vide Notification No. 11024/4/76-AIS(II) dated 07.12.1977.] of service of a member of the service shall form part of the ten months for the purpose of average emoluments.
