01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and the State.

2. This is an application for bail U/s.438 Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioners in apprehension of arrest for their alleged involvement in the offences U/s.292/294/448/506/34, I.P.C. and Section 67 & 67(A) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 in connection with Nimapara P.S. Case No.227 of 2023 corresponding to G.R. Case No.642 of 2023 pending in the court of the learned J.M.F.C., Nimapara.

3. It is alleged as also reveals from the F.I.R. that Petitioner No.1 with the help of Petitioner No.2 established friendship with the daughter of the informant and subsequently captured some intimate photographs with her and pressurized to marry her. But, as the daughter of the informant did not agree to his proposal, Petitioner No.1 made those edited/intimate photographs viral in the WhatsApp and other social media.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsels for the parties, nature of allegations as emerged from the materials on record, the seriousness and gravity of the offences, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail in favour of the Petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for bail stands rejected and the ABLAPL is dismissed.
