Section 10 in The Basavakalyan Development Board Act, 2005
10. Appointment of Commissioner.
(1)The State Government shall appoint an officer not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to Government, to be the Commissioner of the Board.(2)The Commissioner shall receive such salary and other allowances as the State Government may, from time to time, determine.(3)The State Government may, from time to time, grant leave of absence for such period as it thinks fit to the Commissioner.
