2. Extent.
(1)Parts I and IV of this Act shall extend to the [Bombay area of the State of Maharashtra] [These words were substituted for the words 'pre-reorganisation State of Bombay excluding the transferred territories' by the Maharashtra Adaption of Laws (State and Concurrent Subjects) Order, 1960.].
