55. Appointment of manager by Collector .Where the property of a mentally ill person has been entrusted to the Collector by the District Court under sub-section (2) of section 54, he may, subject to the control of the State Government or of any authority appointed by it in that behalf, appoint any suitable person for the management of the property of the mentally ill person.
