of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus,
calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 9.5.2017 passed by
the 2nd Respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the
2nd Respondent to register the Sale Deed executed by the petitioner pertaining to
the property in Patta No. 30, Survey No. 644/12 to an extent of 3.65.00 Hectares,
Pamban Village, Rameswaram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District within a
stipulated time as may be fixe by this Court.

Pending these writ petitions, the Forest Settlement Officer had passed orders rejecting the claim of the petitioners and it is informed that the petitioners have preferred an appeal before the Tribunal and the same is pending.
2. In view of the same, no further adjudication is required to be made in these writ petitions and accordingly, the Writ Petitions stand closed. The petitioners' right to register the document will be subject to the appeal pending before the Tribunal. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
