53. Amendment of section 142.- In section 142 of the principal Act,-(a) in sub- section (1), for the words" five hundred rupees", the words" five thousand rupees" shall be substituted;
(b)in sub- section (2), for the words" one thousand rupees", the words" ten thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
