1. Short title and commencement.
(1)These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Portfolio Managers) Regulations, 1993.(2)They shall come into force on the [date] [7th January, 1993, vide S.O. No. SEBI/LE/92/III, dated 7-01-1993, Gazette of India, Extraordinary, 1993, Part III, section 4.] of their publication in the Official Gazette.
