Section 54(5) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(5)Every person whose name appears in the electoral roll for any division as so revised shall, so long as such roll remains in force, be entitled, subject to the provisions of this Act, to vote at an election for such division and no person whose name does not appear in such roll shall vote at such an election.
