Section 42 in The Deposit Insurance And Credit Guarantee Corporation Act, 1961
42. Protection of action taken under this Act. - o suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Corporation or the Reserve Bank or any director of the Board or any officer of the Corporation or the Reserve Bank [or any other person or agency authorised by the Corporation or the Reserve Bank ]to discharge any functions under this Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act.
