(5)Medium term open access & short term open access shall be granted if the resultant power flow can be accommodated in the existing transmission/ distribution system or the transmission / distribution system under execution.Provided that no augmentation shall be carried out to the transmission/ distribution system for the sole purpose of granting medium term open access and short term open access.Provided further that construction of a dedicated transmission/ distribution line shall not be construed as augmentation of the transmission/distribution system for the purpose of this regulation.
