Section 14A(1) in Tamil Nadu Public Libraries Act, 1948
(1)There shall be constituted a fund called the General Fund with a view to assist, on requisition, any financially weaker Local Library Authority as may be declared by the Government, by order, for the purchase of books or furniture or construction of building or for any other purpose as may be prescribed.
