Section 20(1) in Bihar State Universities (Patna, University of Bihar, Bhagalpur and Ranchi) Act, 1960
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, the Senate shall be the supreme governing body of the University and shall have the entire management of, and superintendence over, the affairs, concerns and property of the University, and shall exercise all the powers of the University, not otherwise provided for, to give effect to the provisions of this Act.
