Section 8(1A) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1963
(1A)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), but subject to the provisions of sub-section (3), the Chairman and the Secretary of a Market Committee acting jointly may, for reasons to be recorded by them in writing, by order suspended a license for a period not exceeding 15 days for any reason for which a Market Committee may suspend the license under sub-section (1).
