Section 7(1)(e) in The Special Rules for the Mulit-storeyed and Public Buildings, 1974

(e)Any person who undertakes any construction, reconstruction, addition or alteration to any building shall not reduce the access to any building previously existing below the minimum width prescribed under these rules.
