The Court made the following:
ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer:
".....to issue a Writ, order or direction more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents 1 and 2 in not granting the extraordinary leave for the period from 01.12.2007 to 19.03.2010 and from 20.03.2010 to 03.09.2015 as on compulsory wait (as on duty) is as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, violative of Fundamental Rules apart from violative of Art. 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to grant extraordinary leave for the period from 01.12.2007 to 19.03.2010 and from 20.03.2010 to 03.09.2015 as on compulsory wait (as on duty) same as on duty (compulsory wait) with all consequential benefits and pass such other order or orders......"2
2. Sri T.S.N.Sudhakar, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the relief has become infructuous and petition may be disposed of.
3. Learned Government Pleader for School Education, appearing for the respondents, is in attendance.
4. In that view, the Writ Petition is dismissed, since relief has become infructuous. No order as to Costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
