Dated 13-11-1963.It has been brought to the notice of the undersigned that in most of the service books/rolls the entry of services have not been verified for the period prior to and after 1-4-1950. The date of birth and qualifications shown on the 1st page of the service books/rolls have not also been got verified from any authentic document and entries in token of having verified them are not made under the dated signature of the drawing officer. This is in contravention to the provision of articles 66 and 67 of G.F. & A. Rules.It is enjoined upon all concerned to strictly adhere to these instruction and to rectify the defects and arrange to keep the service books/rolls complete in all respect in future.
