WRIT PETITION No.11407 of 2007
ORDER:(Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Alok Aradhe) Mr. N. Bhupal Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Social Welfare for the respondents.
2. In this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following relief:
"For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the petitioner herein prays that this Honourable Court may be pleased to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus, declaring the Zonal Transfers of Non-Teaching Staff of the 1st respondent vide its proceedings in Rc.No.4541/A3-2/07, dated 24.05.2007, 25.05.2007 and 26.05.2007 transferring the non-teaching staff from their present places to their native places or to the places in and around their Districts to effect Zonalisation as illegal and contemptuous as the 1st respondent society is a single unit without zones, which issue is pending in W.P.No.16201 of 2003 in which there are orders not to give effect to zonalisation, and it is further consequentially prayed that this Honourable Court may be pleased to set aside the zonal transfer proceedings of the 1st respondent in Rc.No.4541/A3-2/07 dated 24.05.2007 issued on various dates and pass such other order or orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

3. A learned Single Judge of this Court has passed an interim order on 14.06.2007 to permit the petitioner - Society to effect transfers and promotions of its teaching and non-teaching staff and the same shall be subject to the result of the writ petition.
4. On account of efflux of time, the issue involved in this petition does not survive for consideration.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
