244. Payment of land revenue on behalf of others.
- A bhumidhar [* * *] [Omitted by U.P. Act No. 8 of 1977 (w.e.f. 28.01.1977).] who has paid an amount on account of land revenue exceeding his share, may require other bhumidhars [* * *] [Omitted by U.P. Act No. 8 of 1977 (w.e.f. 28.01.1977).] to reimburse the excess amount so paid by him on their behalf.
