Section 13(3) in The Gujarat Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1969
(3)For the period of leave of the Registrar or when a temporary vacancy occurs in the office of the Registrar for any other reason, the Council may subject to the provisions of sub-section (1) appoint a person to act as Registrar and until such appointment is made, the Council may nominate any of its officers to carry of the current duties of the office of the Registrar.
