Section 6A(1) in Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982
(1)Where the Government are satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest or for the purpose of securing the proper management of any Board, that two or more Boards should be amalgamated, the Government may formulate a proposal for amalgamation and shall publish such proposal in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette and in not less than one Tamil daily newspaper having wide circulation in the State.
