Section 14(2) in Tamil Nadu Recognised Private Schools (Regulation) Rules, 1974
(2)No meeting of the School Committee shall be conducted unless -(a)at least seven days clear notice in writing has been given to the members of the Committee;(b)at least fifty per cent of the total members of the Committee are present.Explanation. -If the total number of the members of the Committee is an odd number, the next higher even number shall be taken for the purpose of this sub-rule.
