Section 269 in The Asansol Municipal Corporation Act, 1990.
269. Police officers to assist the Corporation, Mayor-in-Council, Chief Executive Officer, etc. -
It shall be the duty of every police officer in or outside Asansol [to assist the Mayor, the Mayor-in-Council, the Councillors,] [Words substituted by W.B. Act 9 of 1994.] the Chief Executive Officer or any other officer or employee of the Corporation in the exercise of the powers and discharge of the duties and the functions under this Act or any rule or regulation made thereunder as and when such assistance is called for.
