Section 5(1) in The Gujarat Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1969
(1)Any casual vacancy, previous to the expiry of the term, in the office of a member due to his death, resignation, removal disability or disqualification or any other reason shall be filled within three months of the occurrence of the casual vacancy, by nomination or election according as the seat vacated by the member is liable to be filled by nomination or election under Section 3.
