Section 351 in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
351. Minimum width of new public street. -
No new public street made under this Chapter shall be less than ten metres in width, including the footpath :Provided that a pedestrian pathway in a new colony planned by any statutory body and specifically approved by the State Government for the purpose of this section may be six metres in width.
