4. Power to exempt.
- The Government, may by notification, exempt by a general or special order notified in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, any work, worker or establishment or class of work or workers or establishment from all or any of the provisions of this Act [except sections 26 and 27 (2)] and the rule made thereunder for such period and subject to such conditions and restrictions if any, as the Government may think fit.
