Section 24 in The Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act, 1978
24. Repeal and saving.
(1)The Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Ordinance, 1977 is hereby repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal anything done or any action taken (including any rule or order made) under the said Ordinance shall, so far as consistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
