Section 37 in The M.P. Society Registrikaran Adhiniyam, 1973

37. Cognizance of offences.

(1)No Court inferior to that of a Magistrate of the First Class shall try an offence punishable under this Act.
(2)No Court shall take cognizance of an offence punishable under this Act except upon complaint made by the Registrar or any other person, authorised in writing by him, in this behalf.[Provided that no Court shall take cognizance of an offence punishable under sub-section (1) of Section 38, as substituted by Section 12 of the Madhya Pradesh Ashaskiya Shikshan Sansthan (Adhyapakon Tatha Anya Karmachariyon Ke Vetano Ka Sandaya) Adhiniyam, 1978 except upon a complaint made by such officer as the State Government may, by notification, specify in this behalf.] [Inserted by M.P.
