(d)(i)the first planning board shall consist of not more than eleven members who shall be nominated by the Kuladhipati on the advice of the State Government and they shall hold office for a term of three years;(ii)the planning Board shall, in addition to the powers and functions conferred on it by this Act, exercise the powers of the Academic Council and the Board of Studies until the Academic Council and the Board of Studies are constituted under the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, and in the exercise of such powers, the Planning Board may co-opt such members as it may decide.
