Section 10(7) in The Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University Act, 2003
(7)(a)During the leave or absence of the Vice-Chancellor, or(b)in the event of a permanent vacancy in the office of the Vice-Chancellor, until an appointment is made under sub-section (1) to that office, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and in the absence of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, one of the Deans nominated by the Chancellor for that purpose shall carry on the current duties of the office of the Vice-Chancellor.
