                                                        ORDER

The petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Crime No.204 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, for the alleged offence under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, and seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is seen that the present application has been filed against the issuance of a Non-Bailable Warrant against the petitioner. The materials on record indicate that the petitioner has been continuously defying the orders of the Court and has been absconding. In such circumstances, as held by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in (2024) 12 SCC 382, a person against whom an NBW has been issued and who has not cooperated with the process of law is not entitled to the discretionary relief of anticipatory bail.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed.
