Section 8 in Mizoram Animal (Control & Taxation) Act, 2014
8. Village Council to feed and water the animal seized.
(1)No seized animals shall be allowed to starve. The Village Council shall cause to feed and water them properly.(2)The feeding charges will be at such rates as may be prescribed by the Government, which may be collected by the Village Council from the owner.
