Section 22 in The Jute Manufactures Development Council Act, 1983
22. Members, officers and employees of the Council to be public servants.
All the members and all officers and other employees of the Council when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code. (45 of 1860.)
