Section 46A in The Bharathidasan University Act, 1981
46A. [ Transfer of constituent colleges from the University. [Inserted by Tamil Nadu Act 12 of2008, dated 17.3.2008.]
- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or the statutes, regulations, ordinances and orders made thereunder, on and from the date of commencement of the Tamil Nadu University Laws (Amendment) Act, 2007, the colleges specified in the Schedule shall cease to be constituent colleges of the University and the control and management of those colleges shall stand transferred to the Government.]
