10. Board of Governors.
(1)The Board of Governors of the University shall consist of the following members, namely:-(i)the Chancellor shall be the Chairman of the Board;(ii)two representatives of the trust;(iii)Vice-Chancellor of the University;(iv)two Deans of the University, by rotation, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;(v)Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, Higher Education Department, or his nominee;(vi)three expert academicians to be nominated by the Chancellor;(vii)three experts representing other disciplines such as finance, legal, management, humanities to be nominated by the Chancellor;(viii)two representatives of the industries to be nominated by the Chancellor; and(ix)Administrator of the University.(2)The Registrar shall be the Secretary of the Board.
