Section 2(2)(a) in Delhi Prisons (Inspection, Meetings and Duties of Officers) Rules, 1988

(a)The Additional Inspector-General shall inspect a prison including the prison hospital not less than once in six months so that the prison is inspected every quarter either by the Inspector General or by the Additional Inspector-General.
