Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the first and second respondents. http://www.judis.nic.in 2

2.The petitioner is a student of the second respondent College pursuing Bachelor of Computer Application course. In the fourth semester, she fell in love with one Senthil Vel and got married to him. As a result, her relationship with her father came under strain. The petitioner was absent from the College for about 30 days. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to permit the petitioner to attend the course.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the College informs the Court that the College never prevented the petitioner and the petitioner has been absent on her own volition.

4.Taking note of the special facts and circumstances obtaining in this case, this Court is of the view that the petitioner can not only be permitted to continue the course but she also be permitted to write the examination. The first respondent is directed to condone the shortfall in her attendance on payment of the appropriate fee.

5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
