Section 3(e) in The Rajasthan Land Reforms and Jagir Resumption (Absorption of Jagir Employees) Rules, 1954
(e)The Commissioner of the Division will select and provisionally appoint officers of the Revenue Department up to the rank of Upper Division Clerks, and Qanungos. For the posts of Naib Tehsildars, Tehsildars and for other posts belonging to the Subordinate Administrative Service, he will make a preliminary selection and forward the record with his remarks to the Chairman, Revenue Board, as stated in sub-rule (h).
