287. Maintenance of survey map and register.
(1)The map and register prepared under Section 282 shall be maintained by the Collector, who shall cause the map to be revised and the entries in the register to be corrected from time to time as may be necessary, without prejudice to the rights of any person:Provided that, no person shall, for the purposes of this Section be required to give notice of the acquisition of any interest in land.(2)The Collector may assess the cost of the revision of any part of the map and all contingent expenses on the land to which such part relates and such cost shall be payable by the holder of such land, and shall be leviable as an arrear of land revenue under the provisions of this Chapter.
