% 20.06.2022 Pursuant to the order dated 06.06.2022, a medical status is stated to have been filed which has not been placed on record. A copy of the same has been handed over to me in Court today. As per the medical status report, it has been opined by the medical officer in charge as under:

"Despite all treatment given for his lung problem of COPD with repeated acute exacerbation, his oxygen saturations level remains on the lower side (86% to 92%) and he has episodes of prolonged recurrent chest infections which causes difficulties in breathing. Despite long episode of multiple antibiotic courses and supplemental oxygen there has been little improvement noted in his clinical condition. Due to long standing Diabetes and Hypertension in addition to COPD (Obstructive Airway Disease) with recurrent chest infection he has started developing pain in central chest with tourette syndrome (tremors, difficulty in day to day work and difficulty in Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed ByAMIT ARORA Signing Date:21.06.2022 17:20:49 walking)&Weight Losses for which he has been reviewed with Jail visiting SR Medicine and he has given conservative management and further evaluation is awaited."

From the aforesaid, it seems that the petitioner is medically suffering from various ailments which require urgent treatment.

In view of the medical status report, it is directed that the petitioner be granted interim bail on medical grounds for a period of 8 weeks from the date of release, subject to the following conditions:

a) The petitioner shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/-

(Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with 01 surety in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent;

b) The petitioner shall not leave the country and if the petitioner has a passport, he shall surrender the same to the Jail Superintendent;

c) The petitioner shall present himself before the Investigating Officer concerned every Monday between 10:00 am and 11:00 am to mark his presence. However, he will not be kept waiting longer than an hour for this purpose;

d) The petitioner shall furnish to the IO/SHO concerned his cellphone number on which the petitioner may be contacted at any time and shall ensure that the number is kept active and switched-on at all times;

e) The petitioner shall drop his mobile phone location everyday to the IO/SHO concerned.

f) The petitioner shall not indulge in any act or omission that is unlawful or that would prejudice the proceedings in pending cases, if any;

g) Upon expiry of the period of interim bail, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. The medical status report is taken on record. The application is accordingly disposed of.
