Section 46(1) in Tamil Nadu Court of Wards Act, 1902
(1)When the Collector, to whom the execution of any decree has been transferred under section 45, is also the Collector who has to discharge the other functions of a Collector under this Act in respect of the ward against whom such decree has to be executed, the [State Government] [The words 'Provincial Government' were substituted for the words 'Local Government' by the Adaptation Order of 1937 and the word 'State' was substituted for 'Provincial' by the Adaptation Order of 1950.] shall appoint some other person by name or in virtue of his office to exercise the functions of a Collector under this Act in respect of such ward other than the execution of the decrees transferred to him.
