48. Certain offences to be cognizable.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, (2 of 1974) offence punishable under,-(a)sections 39 and 41, for contravening provisions of section 4, and(b)section 42, for contravening provisions of section 23, and(c)section 45, for molestation, shall be cognizable.
