Section 5(1) in The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987
(1)The Government shall establish a market committee for every notified area. It shall be the duty of the market committee to enforce the provisions of this Act and the rules and by-laws made under this Act in such notified area.
