Section 23(1) in The Orissa Khadi and Village Industries Board Regulations, 1960
(1)An order for abolition of a post or for reduction of the emoluments of an appointment shall not be brought into operation, in the case of a permanent employee of regular establishment, before the expiry of 3 months after the notice has been given to the employee affected and in other cases before the expiry of one month after the service of the notice ;Provided that no officer or servant shall be discharged on the abolition of any appointment unless he cannot be provided for otherwise.
