1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 27.05.2022 seeking information on the following points regarding Recruitment Notification Specialist officers 2022-23 notification dated 23.11.2021:

(i) For post Information Technology-Manager-Scale II, how many applications received, how many candidates appeared for written test in each category (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Gen).
(ii) For post Information Technology-Manager-Scale II, cut off score in written test for each category (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Gen) Page 1 of 4
(iii) For post Information Technology-Manager-Scale II, Final cutoff for provisional selection after interview for each category (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Gen)
(iv) For post Information Technology-Manager-Scale II, individual written test marks for Roll no:1910000239
(v) For post Information Technology-Manager-Scale II, individual interview marks for Roll no:1910000239
(vi) For post Information Technology-Manager-Scale II, final score after written test and interview for selection for Roll no: 1910000239

2. The CPIO replied vide letter dated 15.07.2022 and the same is reproduced as under:-

3. Dissatisfied with the response received from the CPIO, the Appellant filed a First Appeal dated 27.06.2022 alleging that the information provided was incomplete, false and misleading. The FAA vide order dated 20.07.2022 upheld the reply given by the CPIO.

4. Aggrieved with the FAA's order, the Appellant approached the Commission with the instant Second Appeal dated nil.

5. The appellant remained absent and on behalf of the respondent Shri Dheeraj Goyal, Deputy General Manager, attended the hearing through video conference.

6. The respondent while defending their case inter alia submitted that they had provided point-wise information vide letter dated 15.07.2022. Further, they submitted that the delay of 15 days in responding to the RTI application was caused on account of administrative reasons.

7. The Commission after adverting to the facts and circumstances of the case, hearing the respondent and perusal of records, observes that point-wise information was provided on 15.07.2022. Further, the respondent explained that the delay of 15 days was caused due to administrative reasons and may not be attributable to the CPIO. In the absence of the Appellant to plead his case or contest the CPIO's submissions, the Commission finds no scope of intervention in the matter. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.

Copy of the decision be provided free of cost to the parties.
