1. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this Court by order dated 27.01.2020 had directed respondent No.2 - Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to file an affidavit placing on record factual position regarding filling up of vacancies in the post of Trainee Scientist. He submits that the affidavit filed does not deal with the post of Trainee Scientist but pertains to Scientist, which is the promotional post of Trainee Scientist.

2. Learned counsel for CSIR prays for some more time to file an affidavit pertaining to the post of Trainee Scientist.

3. Let the same be filed within six weeks.

4. List on 09th January, 2024.
